Electronic Recycling

Pennsylvania’s state law called the Covered Device Recycling Act (CDRA), passed in November of 2010, addresses the recycling and disposal of certain “covered” electronic devices in Pennsylvania. “Covered Devices” include desktop and laptop computers, computer monitors, computer peripherals and televisions. These can no longer be put out for collection with a community’s regular garbage collection and will not be collected by Republic Services, Collier Township’s trash and recycling service provider.
