Collier Township Officials

Board of Commissioners

George MacinoCommissioner - President
Committees: Finance; Planning; Administration

I am a native of the Pittsburgh area and grew up in the West End section of the city. I moved around the country on business for nearly 30 years, but in 2002 my wife Barb and I decided to move back to Pittsburgh and we chose to settle in CollierTownship and we have enjoyed every minute of life here. In 2004, I started my own sign company and located the business in The Great Southern Shopping Center. Being a resident and a businessman in Collier Township has provided many rewarding experiences. I currently serve on the Graphic Design Board at Pittsburgh Technical Institute (PTI) and also serve as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the South West Communities Chamber of Commerce.Prior to being appointed to the Board of Commissioners, I served on the Township Planning Commission. I enjoy the challenges and the opportunities that the Commissioners role provides and I look forward to helping to make Collier Township the most desirable and enjoyable place to live, work and recreate.

Committees: Parks & Recreation; Public Works; Council of Governments (COG)

I grew up about 60 miles north of Collier. I earned a BA from Westminster College in Political Science with a minor in History. While attending college, I met the woman I would marry, my wife Corrine. We decided to move to Collier to be close to her family. I currently work in a family run landscaping business. I also enjoy sports and especially football as I am an official for both high school and college. I decided to run for office to try and improve my community and make it a better place to raise our family.

      Wayne M. Chiurazzi, Esq.Commissioner
Committees: Administration/Public Affairs; Council of Governments (COG)

I have lived in the South Hills of Pittsburgh all of my life. I moved to Collier Township over 12 years ago and have seen it grow and prosper. I decided to give back and run for Commissioner and was fortunate to be elected. Briefly, my background consists of graduating from Duquesne University School of Law in 1991. I have been actively practicing law in the Western Pennsylvania area for the past 21 years. I own and manage a law firm located at 101 Smithfield Street in the City of Pittsburgh. I represent individuals and businesses in our area. I am active in charity work, especially those in helping persons with disabilities. I also sit on the Board of an area hospital. I am most proud of the fact that I have two children. Both of my kids attend Chartiers Valley School District and are also very active in the community. Prior to being elected to the Board of Commissioners, I served on the Collier Township Parks Board. I look forward to my role as Commissioner in Collier Township and will continue to strive to make this area the best place to reside.

        Nichole M. FellerCommissioner
Committees: Finance; Public Safety; Public Works

I am a Chartiers Valley native, born and raised in the neighboring community of Scott Township, I moved to Collier in 2006. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting prior to earning my Master of Science in Fraud and Forensics at Carlow University. In 2010 my sister, Noelle, and I purchased the Presto Qwik Stop convenience store in the Presto neighborhood of Collier. In addition to operating our store, I work as an Accountant for Wilke & Associates CPAs. I believe that volunteering is the best way to give back. I choose to spend my free time volunteering within Collier Township, furthermore with the Western PA. Firefighters Memorial Honor Guard Pipes & Drums, Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Crew, and the PENNDOT Adopt a Highway program. Collier Township has been wonderful to me first as a resident and secondly as a business owner. I started my involvement with the township as an alternate member of the Civil Service Commission. These experiences Collier has afforded me influenced my decision to seek office as a member of the Board of Commissioners. Being elected Commissioner, I hope to better serve our entire community, working to build a stronger community engaging all aspects—our residents, businesses and employees.

          Jason OskampCommissioner
Committees: Parks & Recreation; Public Safety; Planning

Cindy & I are proud residents of Collier Township where we are raising our two children. The reason I ran for office is because I want my kids to one day look back and have the same great memories that I do as a result of growing up in the area. Also, I've come to realize the very reason I take so much pride in calling Collier home is due to the fact that other residents volunteer their time in various capacities, including community projects, school related activities as well as local government. I was born in Bridgeville and after graduating from Chartiers Valley High School in 1990 I attended the University of Pittsburgh in order to pursue a career in the Technology Industry. Over the past 20 years I've had an opportunity to work for two of the largest Software Companies in the world, which included stops in Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles & Portland. Prior to being elected to the Board of Commissioners, I had the pleasure of serving on the Collier Township Parks & Recreation Board. In addition I'm also Board Member of the Rennerdale Volunteer Fire Department as well as a Volunteer Fire Fighter.
